Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 1 January 2026. Please read these terms carefully before booking.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By making a booking or enquiry with SkyArc Tours, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
2. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit and issuance of a written confirmation from SkyArc Tours. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion. All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
3. Payments
A deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days before your departure date. Bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking. Payments may be made by bank transfer or credit card.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@skyarctours.com. Cancellations made 60+ days before departure are entitled to a full refund of the deposit less a 10% administrative fee. Cancellations 30–59 days before departure forfeit 50% of the total cost. Cancellations within 30 days of departure are non-refundable. Bhutan Government Tourism Levies (SDF) are non-refundable once paid.
5. Itinerary Changes
SkyArc Tours reserves the right to modify itineraries due to weather, road conditions, government regulations, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will endeavour to provide equivalent alternatives and will communicate changes as promptly as possible. No refunds are issued for itinerary modifications caused by force majeure.
6. Sustainable Development Fee (SDF)
All visitors to Bhutan are required to pay the Government of Bhutan's Sustainable Development Fee. This fee is subject to change by the Bhutanese government and is beyond our control. Any changes to the SDF will be passed on to the client.
7. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance including medical evacuation cover is strongly recommended for all travellers. SkyArc Tours is not responsible for any losses, costs, or claims arising from the absence of adequate travel insurance.
8. Liability
SkyArc Tours acts as a principal operator within Bhutan. Our liability is limited to direct damages caused by our own negligence. We are not liable for losses arising from acts of nature, government actions, civil unrest, illness, theft, or any event outside our reasonable control.
9. Passports, Visas & Permits
It is the traveller's responsibility to hold a valid passport and obtain necessary visas for India (if transiting). SkyArc Tours will arrange the Bhutan visa and Tourism Council clearance on your behalf once payment and required documents are received.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bhutan. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of Thimphu, Bhutan.
